What to Expect from Turtlehorn at New York Fashion Week?
New York Fashion Week is one of the most prestigious events in the fashion industry. It attracts top designers, influencers, and fashionistas from around the world. Turtlehorn's participation in this event is a testament to their growing influence and recognition in the fashion world.
At NYFW, Turtlehorn showcases their latest collection, the so called 'Survivors of the Future' (SOTF), which is expected to be a true reflection of their brand ethos. The collection will feature contemporary, gorpcore, streetwear designs with a dystopian vibe, worked out with recycled materials and special rust dyes.
The surprise of barefoot models came across, walking back to our roots of not needing or owning that much as a 'Survivor of the Future'.

It is also an opportunity for fashion design students from Birmingham City University from the UK to collaborate with the designer on an ongoing research project about sustainable challenges who's turn out will be showcased not only on the runway, but also in form of an exhibition and paper publication at the Upcylcing Festival 2024 of the Int. Upcycling Research Network in Birmingham, UK.
