Our roots

Where do we come from?

Seville is a city that radiates with the warmth of the sun and the vibrant colors of its architecture and urban shapes and their daily life on street. Beyond the tourist attractions and well-known landmarks, there is way more to discover - the surroundings, diverse barrios and the suburbs, where the expressions of all arts resides. In these barrios, a unique subculture thrives, embracing its roots and creating a tight-knit community that is as diverse as it is captivating.

To understand the essence of Sevilla's streets, we must delve into their origins. These neighborhoods have a rich history that dates back centuries, each with its own story to tell. From the ancient streets of Triana to the bohemian atmosphere of Macarena, the barrios are a testament to the city's cultural heritage.
It might be that we are grown up in a catholic surrounding with arabik influences, rich of believes and traditions. Nevertheless, we always stayed underground in our own way.

Our threaded Community and the Skate Scene

The residents, known as sevillanos, have a deep connection to their neighborhood and its people. It is a place where everyone knows each other, where bonds are formed, and where traditions are cherished.

Sevilla's barrios are a breeding ground for creativity. From the soulful flamenco singers to the passionate dancers, the artistic spirit flows through the veins of the community. The streets of Seville have nurtured countless talented individuals who have gone on to make their mark in the world of art and culture.

One of our most vibrant aspects of Sevilla's subculture is the skate scene. The streets are home to talented skateboarders who transform the streets into their canvas. With their gnarly moves and daring tricks, they bring art to life on wheels, turning the mundane into something extraordinary. It is a way of discovering architectural elements and pavement shapes transforming them into own landscapes inside own imagination.

Embracing Our Subculture

Living in a certain barrio is not just about embracing the local culture; it's about embracing our subculture. It's about celebrating our unique identity and finding beauty in the unconventional and urban tribes. By this special lifestyle, the folk breaks free from the norms and create their own path, specially by growing up in the suburbs.

As hard as it can be to live in the outside borders of this big city, there is still the aroma of traditional cuisine and herbage filling the air, and keeps being a place where the rhythm of life beats to its own tune.

So, next time you find yourself in Sevilla, venture beyond the tourist hotspots and immerse yourself in the streets of diverse city sectors. Discover the true essence of the city, where the sun shines bright, the colors are more vibrant, and the spirit of community is alive in every corner with a sense of certain mystery and uncertainty in other corners...
